From June 2018 until February 2022, Daniel served as Artistic Advisor to the V. Atkins Foundation, which maintained the Atkins Young Artists Fellowship at the Mariinsky Theatre in Saint Petersburg. He advised on curriculum development, performance activities, and faculty selection. He provided career strategy guidance to selected participants, and helped identify future individual artists to be considered for the Fellowship Program. As such, he observed the XVI International Tchaikovsky Competition in 2019 in Saint Petersburg and Moscow to scout possible new singers.

In the summer and fall of 2021, Daniel served remotely as Interim Executive Director during the Executive Director’s maternity leave. He oversaw coaching activities in collaboration with local and international coaches. He also organized a live broadcast of young artist auditions in Saint Petersburg to be viewed in New York together with staff members of Medici TV and the Mariinsky Theater, in order for the V. Atkins Foundation leadership in New York to select new participants for the 21-22 season.
